Central Registry
Central Registry is the facilitation of background checks for agencies and organizations working with children or vulnerable adults. The process includes confirming people who have been substantiated for abuse or neglect by DFS and a Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation pre-screening for those who have been convicted of a felony affecting another person’s health or safety. Organizations employing people who work with youth and vulnerable adults are required to do this background check for new and potential employees.
