Early Childhood Programs Division
Early Childhood Division staff focus on improving the quality of and access to child care. Staffers work to ensure the safety of children in out-of-home care facilities, including child care programs and youth residential programs, through the licensing of these facilities and by offering technical assistance. We administer the Child Care Development Fund (CCDF) to help low-income families pay for child care and provide programs to improve the quality of child care.
